Why It’s Better to Modify: Black Chevy Silverado
Upgrading a Black Chevy Silverado
We had a beautiful Black Chevy Silverado come our way recently. We decided to spruce it up a bit and add some slick features that are designed to help it handle better on the road. Our first priority was to add some new tires. The old ones were past their prime and didn’t have some of the off-road features that we prefer.
We decided to go with 35’’ inch Fuel tires, one of the best manufacturers on the market today. In order to add larger, thicker tires, we had to lift the body of the truck a full 8 inches, putting more space between the body of the truck and the axels on the wheels. If you plan on going off road, it’s helpful if you have more ground clearance to avoid damaging the belly of your truck with large rocks or other pieces of debris.
This type of Fuel tire is known for its superior handling on the road and off. They feature a unique tread pattern that you won’t find anywhere else. It has wide lugs with tiny sipes all around, giving you more traction in the mud, snow and rain. While this pattern is ideal for some off-road exploring, it also holds up remarkably well on paved surfaces. You’ll have the handling and the traction you need to master any type of environment. We also added 22’’ American Force rims so that a wider tire could be mounted on the wheel.
Overall, this Black Chevy Silverado has the wherewithal to survive the most extreme off-road conditions. Come to Don’s Wholesale and take this beauty for a test drive!
